After a long a challenging build out with more hurdles to conquer than expected MAKEOUT Culver City is almost ready to open. I designed this awesome new raw, vegan restaurant for chef partners Matthew Kinney, Michel Franceour and their partner Antony Besso. Thrift Stores

Despite the fact that most of my projects are high end luxury residential, I never pass up a great thrift store or Flea market . And this beauty is exactly why. Can't wait to restore this amazing chair c. Late 1800s/ early 1900. Searched high and low for the Thonet mark but haven't uncovered it yet. It's in need of love for sure, but the wooden pegs that hold it together are still in tact and beautifully made. Stay tuned to see its evolution.

Working through the night, we're so excited to finally start construction of the amazing new restaurant that's a collaboration between raw food chefs Matthew Kenney, Michel Franceour and their partner Antony Besso.

We're aiming for a early November opening on the amazing little walk street in Culver City right behind the famed Culver Hotel. They'll be serving the most amazing raw vegan food, fresh pressed juices, Kombucha on tap and more. Follow along during the build out.
