Almost finished after a year with this amazing penthouse residence. Making finishing touches now. Here I am wondering why the hell I designed this chandelier. I create these concepts in my mind at 3:00 in the morning then make them happen. Problem is I'm a bit of a control freak re details in the installation of my pieces so I decide to do the final installations myself. This ten foot long chandelier will hold 3500 hand blown glass droplets in clear, white and frosted glass. Each one had to have a small fabric covered white wire cut and bent to hook the bauble to the frame. This time I was lucky enough to enroll the help of my two great friends with a few good bottles of red wine, lots of laughs and tired fingers. A special thanks to them, you know who you are.
